Craft2.0 is the creation of Sue Tyler
Sue created the very first Craft2.0 held at TheNewDowse in Wellington.
TheNewDowse has hosted 5 successful fairs since then, with the last fair attracting 1000 visitors in the first hour alone.
A talented crafter herself, Sue is very much in tune with her local crafting community and the modern craft movement generally.
With a background in project and community management, she also has a wealth of experience promoting and selling
her own work and uses these assets to create a supportive environment for the crafters involved in Craft2.0.
Sue's jewellery label Supervery can be seen on Felt, Ponoko, ArtFlock, Etsy and in various design outlets throughout New Zealand.
Craft2.0 hearts Felt
Sue has joined forces with Lucy Arnold from Felt. Felt is New Zealand's online marketplace for handmade goods together they are taking the crafty goodness of Craft2.0 nationwide.
Lucy makes snuggly warm merino armwarmers which can also be seen on Felt and Etsy. Felt was inspired by a desire to promote handmade and enable craftspeople to develop their craft into a viable enterprise.
Lucy graduated in 2001 from CPIT School of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications and co-owns Christchurch-based graphic design business Board
of Design.
